October is here, and so is the stress about picking which costumes to wear. Whether you are going to school, Trick or Treating, or partying on Halloween, a perfect costume is necessary. Here a few of my favorite ideas for Halloween costumes:

For School

If you and your friends are looking to show some true sisterhood, you could be sisters in Christ as nuns—It would definitely be in accordance with our school guidelines. Another idea for school is to dress up as some of your favorite TV show or movie characters. Last year, some of my friends dressed up as Oompla Loompas and Willy Wonka. You could also go as characters from Top Gun and wear helmets with your callsigns on it.

Last Minute

One Halloween, I was struggling because I was too lazy to buy a costume ahead of time. The night before Halloween I found a pair of glasses and dressed up as Damian from Mean Girls. All I needed was a hoodie and sunglasses it was that easy! Another quick costume is wearing all-black and saying you’re a spy. Finally, if you have a cute black dress and can braid your hair you can be Wednesday Addams in “The Addams Family.”

Easy

A few easy ideas could be Jake from State Farm: you only need are khaki pants a red shirt and a nametag to make the vision come true. If you have an old white sheet, you can never go wrong with cutting out eye holes, and dressing like a ghost. As an extra bonus, you can hide under your sheet the whole time and not have to wear any makeup at all.

Trios

A few trio costumes could be Alvin and the Chipmunks or The Powderpuff Girls. These costumes are cheap and easy to make, and can even make your trio the talk of the town.

Duos

If you decide to pair up with one friend, you two can go as peanut butter and jelly. Additionally, some more options are: Woody and Buzz Lightyear, Phineas and Ferb, or even Mario and Luigi.

Couples

If you have a significant other, these would be some perfect costumes: Mike and Sully, Sharkboy and Lavagirl, Barbie and Ken, or any princess and prince. These can be really simple and look great when you spend some time planning it.

Halloween is coming up, so hopefully some of these ideas help you to come up with costume ideas or remind you to get your costumes before it’s too late. No matter what, make sure your costume is appropriate for the weather and for school.
