As the season changes from summer to fall, so should your wardrobe. So say goodbye to all of your tank tops and mini skirts and dust off your Ugg boots because “Christian girl autumn” is finally here.

The Christian girl autumn fashion style is very popular and an option for anyone who needs fashion inspiration as the weather gets colder. Even though “Christian” is in the name, it does not technically refert to religion. This title only refers to a fashionable and conservative stylistic approach. It is simply the name of a trend, and appears often in fashion magazines and fashion blog posts.

The first step in changing your style to fit the season is finding the bulkiest, warm toned, knit sweater in your closet. If you don’t already have one, then you better go out and buy one. Having a warm sweater is essential considering the unbearably cold weather we’ve had lately. Also, it must be warm toned to match the falling leaves in the background of your aesthetically pleasing Instagram photoshoot.

The second step in adapting the “Christian girl autumn” style is to grab your favorite foldover beanie with the fluffiest fluff ball. Once again, your beanie must be warm toned to match the fall aesthetic.

Step three is to make sure your hair is in beach wave curls at all times.

The fourth step is to go out and buy the most massive scarf you can find. Preferably it would cover your entire neck, half your face, and be able to be wrapped around your neck multiple times.

Now you can’t forget step number five. Dig up those calf length, chestnut Ugg boots from the depths of your closet and get cozy, because they’re back in style.

The last, and in my opinion, most important step to transition from summer girlie to autumn girlie is to sip on a pumpkin spice latte. But not just any pumpkin spice latte–it must be from Starbucks and it must be a grande. No other coffee cup will satisfy the “Christian girl Autumn” aesthetic. The grande latte is the perfect accessory to finish off this perfect look.

Kimiko Watanabe ’23 shared, “One of my favorite fall fashion icons is Drew Phillips. It’s honestly like groundbreaking how he is the Christian autumn girlie we all strive to be.”

Now you’re ready to strut with the perfect fall outfit.
