After many competitions, long practices, and rhinestones, the Rosary Academy Dance Team has finally completed their 2021-2022 season.

The Rosary Academy Dance Team, also known as “RADT,” has the longest season out of all Rosary sports. Beginning in April and ending the following March, the dancers are almost always in season.

Every year, RADT finishes their season with a recital called Ladies Night. The girls perform their competition dances, along with class dances, senior solos, and a full-team routine. The night is very special, especially for seniors, as Ladies Night marks the last time the seniors will dance for Rosary.

Grace Markos ‘22, senior on RADT stated, “Ladies Night was very bittersweet. It was very fun to perform all of our self-choreographed dances, but I was sad to dance with my team for the last time.”

(Evelyn) As a person who attended this wonderful performance, I was given the opportunity to see all of my dancer friends’ hard work and effort that they put into this season. I also brought my two younger sisters who hope to be Royals as well. My youngest sister, Maeve, loves to dance and looks up to the Rosary Dance Team a lot. Maeve explained, “I liked seeing all the dancers and I liked learning from them. I want to be like them when I grow up!” Maeve is currently in third grade and she has always enjoyed watching the RADT girls perform and getting to them through me. The Rosary Dance Team girls are great role models and an excellent group of Royals.

Ladies’ night was an overall success. It was fun to watch and an amazing event to be a part of. As this event concludes the RADT season, congratulations to the entire program for an outstanding season. Good luck to all new and returning members of RADT in the 2022-2023 season!
