On Tuesday, Jan. 18, Rosary Academy’s Varsity Basketball team faced Rolling Hills Prep, who had an overall record of 6-6 compared to the Rosary Academy Basketball team, which had a record of 9-6.

After the first quarter of this match, it looked like it was going to be a close game. However, the Rosary Royals pulled ahead in the second quarter making the score 25-14.

Sophomore captain Allison Clark shot some clutch three-pointers throughout the game that really helped the team take the lead.

In the second half, Rosary Academy was not messing around. They increased their lead significantly. By the end of the game the Royals won 58-30.

Although this was not a league game, it was still a competitive one. Kaylani Barker ’22 shared, “The team played really well, showed up, and worked hard. I know what the team is capable of, and I am excited for the rest of season.”

The Rosary Academy Varsity Basketball team also faced the Orange Lutheran Lancers this Thursday, Jan. 20 and took the win finishing 64-53. Good job Royals!
