On November 17, English heartthrob Harry Styles finally graced us with his presence in southern California to continue Love On Tour. From screaming teenage girls wherever you go, the outrageous outfits, to the humorous posters made in hopes of having THE Harry Styles read them, this concert was nothing short of memorable.

I had the opportunity to experience this iconic tour with a concert specialist, Abby Tice ‘22, and we have been waiting to attend this concert since I received the tickets as a 16th birthday present (keep in mind, I am almost 18). Abby stated, “I love Harry Styles. His performances compared to other concerts I’ve been to are unmatched. His energy and beauty are things that aren’t easy to find at a lot of concerts and I’ve been to many  concerts.”

To say we have been anxiously anticipating Harry’s arrival for two years is a major understatement. I have been so fortunate to have been in the presence of Mr. Styles twice! The first time was a One Direction concert back in 2013. I can easily say that the One Direction concert was THE loudest concert I have been to, but now Harry’s solo tour is a close second due to the continuous high pitch screaming of thousands of women throughout the Forum.

Whether you are a Styles fan or not, everyone can enjoy this concert because of his stage performance, setlist, and the overall ambiance Love On Tour had to offer. However, I will not expose his setlist in this article since he still has two shows left in Los Angeles, and I do not want to spoil the experience for concert-goers. If you are still curious, you can easily look it up.

Leah Gimenez ‘24 attended the concert last night and expressed, “My favorite part of the concert was Harry’s extraordinary dance moves.” All I will say is that this concert will, without a doubt, have you dancing and singing the entire time, from his older hits to his newest album, Fine Line.

The concert attendees also had the pleasure of hearing Medicine, a song that unfortunately did not make it onto the Fine Line album released in December 2019. This song has only been performed at one other concert on this tour, and that was in St. Louis. Kate Curry ‘22 was also in attendance at last night’s performance and had this to say, “we were very lucky to have heard Medicine live! Harry didn’t perform the song at other tours, so I felt very blessed.”

The energy released from the crowd when Medicine was played, was an energy that I had never experienced from a fan base before. Harry’s fans’ passion for his music and overall being is extraordinary, and their dedication is admirable.

In all, Harry Styles, Love On Tour was a remarkable experience for everyone who had the opportunity to attend, and I would 100% would love to go to another concert of his one day in the future. His catchy and well-written music is truly one of a kind. His stage presence and energy filled the Forum, and his magnificent face certainly did not hurt either. Love On Tour is a 10/10! My compliments to the chef. Bravo, Mr. Styles!
