Lunchtime dodgeball

One of the Red Ribbon week festivities that students were able to participate in were the dodgeball games at lunch. The first match-up was between the freshmen snow leopards and the sophomore tigers. The second match-up was between the junior dinosaurs and the senior sharks. The winner of these games played each other for an intense final round.

On Tuesday, Oct. 26, the freshmen lost to the sophomores in a tough match.

The day after, Wednesday Oct. 25, the seniors beat the juniors easily. Junior Vivi Mercado said: “I really thought we had a chance. The seniors just came out to win, and they did exactly that.”

On Thursday, Oct. 28, the finals were held at lunch. The finals consisted of the previous winners, the sophomores and the seniors. This was a long game going back and forth. Eventually the Sophomore class came out on top.

Brennan Kennedy ’22 stated: “I was really sad that we did not win the dodge ball game, I thought we were really going to do it this year. My Royal sisters did a great job I just wish we could have pulled out with a W.” The seniors put up a really good fight and worked together to try to win.

Congratulations sophomores!!
