On Monday night, Oct. 18, both Royals and Friars were given the opportunity to visit or meet with 75+ colleges to provide a more inside look of what it’s like after they leave the halls of Rosary and Servite. Students from all grade levels attended this large college fair, and it gave underclassmen the chance to start looking at their college futures. As for seniors, this gave them an even closer look at the application process and allowed them to view future colleges they would like to apply to.

Rosary senior Brooke Kizziar attended the college night and explained, “I was most excited to see GCU because it has been at the top of my list for months now, and I have already been accepted to the school. I also met with my admissions counselor for the first time, and it was great communicating with them.”

When asked about his college night experience, Servite junior, Jack Boschetti expressed, “Going into this college night, I didn’t have a school that I was most excited about, but the University of Oklahoma surprised me because they offer education in aviation, which I thought was super cool. They also have good sports teams, and it seems like an overall great community.”

As the school year progresses and seniors are counting down the days until graduation, they are excited to see potential colleges they can see themselves attending in the not too distant future. Make sure to take advantage of these opportunities because the exciting application process comes fast.
