It’s time we talk about “WandaVision.” Because, wow. Just…wow.

“WandaVision” is a mini-series following Wanda Maximoff, known as Scarlett Witch, as she takes control of a small town in New Jersey and creates a barrier between it and the outside world with her powers. Wanda uses her powers to puppeteer the townspeople to act out a sit-com like fantasy to help cope with her loss and despair.

The series boasts some serious Marvel fan nerdiness. Viewers get to check in on fan favorites, such as Jimmy Woo, Darcy Lewis, and Monica Rambeau. Not one actor fails to deliver.

“WandaVision” has beat the record for highest televison show budget at a whopping cost of $225M. And trust me, you can tell. The CGI and production value is unbeatable.

Not to mention, each episode is based off of a sitcom from the respective decade Wanda is pretending to be in.

But that’s not what matters. Let’s talk about what is really important: theories.

Wanda has stolen the corpse of Vision and is pupeteering him to help her cope, but Vision is slowly gaining awareness of what really is happening. Vision has made eye contact with the camera multiple times, and he seems to be aware of the “coincidences” happening in this strange reality.

In the most recent episode, Vision has been aware of his deceased status by their neighbor “Agnes,” who many fans have speculated to be Agatha Harkness, a prominent character in Scarlet Witch comics.

As many fans are aware, in the MCU, Wanda Maximoff’s twin, Pietro, died in “Age of Ultron.” His character QuickSilver is alive and well in the X-Men universe as Peter Maximoff, played by Evan Peters.

Evan Peter’s Quicksilver has been introduced in “WandaVison” and fans are going wild. Many think this is Marvel’s way of colliding the X-Men and MCU together. Others believe this will set up the upcoming Doctor Strange movie, “Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.” One thing that we are for sure about is that the multiverse does exist in the MCU— we just aren’t sure how or when it will be introduced.

Many fans believe that either this new and odd Quicksilver is really the villain Mephisto, the Marvel universe devil, as well as frequent villain in Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver comics. Others believe that Tyler Hayward, the S.H.I.E.L.D director that has been introduced will be Mephisto.

Wanda Maximoff is proving to be the most powerful Avenger. We have never seen such an insane show of power from her, let alone any of the Avengers before. Wanda is literally controlling an entire town, warping reality, and creating a massive force-shield.

“WandaVision” is a must-watch for any Marvel fan. From die-hard comic nerds to casual viewers, “WandaVision” is a great watch.
