Coming Soon: Rosary’s New Podcasts

Coming Soon: Rosarys New Podcasts

Who doesn’t love a good podcast? If you’re like me, your phone is filled with podcasts ranging from humor, to true crime, to movie analysis’. What if I told you that Rosary will soon have a podcast for you to listen to, thanks to Julissa Gonzalez ’22.

I had the chance to talk to Julissa about the new podcast.

Q: What was your inspiration for this podcast?

A: My inspiration for this podcast was truly the Rosary community. The Rosary community motivates me everyday to try my best and get out of my comfort zone.

Q: How did you go about making this podcast official?

A: In order for me to get my podcast approved and official, I had to make sure that I made a plan for my podcast, as to how I would run it. After I made my plan, I had to present my idea to Dr. Pautsch, Mr. Basford, Mrs. Huerta, and Mrs. Barclay. They were all very supportive of my ideas and have given me the opportunity to continue with my podcast.

Q: What can we expect from this podcast?

A: From my podcast, I expect people to relate to my stories and learn something from each episode.

Q: How often can we expect a new episode?

A: I have not decided on a calendar as to when I will release episodes, but all I will say is that my first episode is in the works and will be here soon!

Q: Where can we find the podcast?

A: The podcast will be available on Spotify and anywhere else you listen to podcasts. I would also potentially like to include a link that can be emailed out to every girl at Rosary.

Q: What kind of topics will you be covering?

A: I will be discussing many different topics but they will all be topics that Rosary girls can relate to and learn from.

Q: What are you most excited to talk about?

A: I am excited to share everything, but mostly I’m excited to hear feedback from girls, good and bad on what I can work on and where I am doing well. I am more than ready to share my stories with other girls from Rosary.
